One only has to look at a cross section of my short stories to
realise, whatever genre I choose, most of my work seems to carry a dark
thread that I hope to carry through into longer length work. It is this
creative strand I look to when categorising much of my short fiction.
Whatever the setting, be the antagonist human or some influence not of
this world, there’s a dark intent or outcome, something mysterious,
something concealed, and wherever light shines it creates a shadow.
